We spent Boxing Day in Hastings, on the south coast, and awoke the next morning to discover a thick blanket of snow over everything. The kids were anxious to get out in it and throw snowballs but the snow continued to fall, making it quite difficult to venture outside. In a gap between showers, however, my father and I made it down to the fishermen's beach to take some photographs; dad will make his into greetings cards to sell at a local shop, Made in Hastings. I printed a couple of mine and sent them as New Year cards to anyone I had missed off my Christmas card list.
